  • On Saturday, January 18, join Prime Time Ministry from a movie viewing of The ShackBased on the internationally best selling novel, The Shack explores God's love for His Children, asking challenging questions around forgiveness, reconciliation, and human freedom. The movie will begin at 1:30 PM in the Angelo Room of the Parish Center. All are welcome!

  • Bereavement Ministry is meeting for six consecutive Wednesday evenings from 1/8 to 2/5 at 6:30 PM in the Parish Center. If you are grieving the loss of a loved one, you are invited to join this faith-based support group. Please contact Maryann Tyrer at mtyer@stelmo79.org for more information.

  • Theology Thursday continues with a series by Jayne Porcelli: "Spirituality in the Second Half of Life." Join us in the parish center at 6:30 PM for this discussion and study of an excellent book Let This Be the Time by Sr. Janet Schaeffler. Join us for four consecutive Thursdays: 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30. This event is co-sponsored by our Prime Time Ministry.

  • Next Sunday, January 19, the Young Adult Ministry will host a wine and cheese social after the 5PM mass. All are welcome!

  • On Sunday, January 25, after the 12PM mass, the Young Adult Ministry will meet to reflect, journal, and discuss their prayers and intentions for 2025, completing "Vision Prayer Boards" as a physical representation! Supplies will be provided and all are welcome! Please meet in the back of the church at the end of mass, and the group will walk over to the parish center together. 

  • Centering Prayer is a Christian contemplative practice popularized by the Trappists in the 1970s but based
    on a 15th  century treatise on prayer called "The Cloud of Unknowing";
    Fr. Michael Holleran will be
    establishing a weekly Centering Prayer group in the parish chapel on Wednesday evenings.  Everyone is welcome! The first sessions will include beginner instruction for those new to this type of prayer and will conclude around 8:15. Ongoing Announcements​​​​​​

  • Is God calling you to be a catechist? Volunteers are needed to help to pass on the faith to the next generation of children and teens. Join us in helping form adults who are preparing for sacraments and to assist with adult faith sharing. No experience needed – all training and materials are provided.
